Day 1 Tbilisi city tour

The representative of Georgian Discovery Tours will greet the guests at the airport and ensure their smooth transfer to the hotel. After a brief rest, we will start exploring Tbilisi. Lunch and a master class at the famous restaurant, cooking spinach dish "Pkhali", eggplant with walnuts and "Lobio" (dish made out of beans). Then the group will participate in wine tasting held in a specialized wine shop. In the evening welcome dinner at the traditional restaurant with live folk music and/or dancing performance.

Day 2 Tbilisi-Mtskheta-Kazbegi

After the breakfast we head to the town of Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia. After a tour & sightseeing, lunch and a master class in a popular restaurant in Mtskheta overlooking the ancient city. Preparation of the famous "Mtskheturi Perashki". After lunch, we head to the alpine region Kazbegi. Upon arrival to Sthepantsminda, a central town of the Kazbegi region, we will take a short trek through the neighborhood. In the evening dinner and master class on the preparation of the famous Georgian dishes "Khinkali" in the local guesthouse.

Day 3 Kazbegi-Kutaisi

After the breakfast we head to the city of Kutaisi, the administrative and historical centre of western Georgia. Lunch and a master class at the restaurant, cooking of famous dish of the region "Imerian Khachapuri." Visit the historical museum, a temple of Bagrati (11th century) & Gelati architectural monastic complex. Recreation and dinner at the hotel.

Day 4 Kutaisi-Batumi

After the breakfast we head towards the Black Sea, to Ajara - Batumi. Tour of Batumi. lunch at the restaurant, cooking Adjarian specialty, "Adjara khachapuri". Free time for leisure walks. Dinner at a restaurant. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 5 Batumi-Tbilisi

After the breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to the botanical garden of Batumi. After excursion, group will head towards Tbilisi. Lunch en route to Tbilisi (dishes from national cuisine). Arrival and accommodation. Free time for exploration of the capital at your leisure. Dinner individually.

Day 6 Tbilisi-Telavi-Kvareli-Gurjaani

In the morning we head towards the Kakheti region and pay a visit to the town of Telavi, the capital of Kakheti. After a brief tour of the town, we will depart towards Kvareli and visit a winery "Kindzmaraulis Marani", where you will enjoy a wine tasting & pleasant lunch.
Then we will head in direction of the town Gurjaani. Here we will visit traditional Kakhetian family Wine House Gurjaani. In this family, you will attend a master class on preparing Georgian delicacy "Churchkhela", Georgian "Mtsvadi" and Georgian bread "Shoti" and of course taste home made wines produced in this family.

After the breakfast we head to the royal town of Sighnaghi and after the city tour of the town, visit a nunnery in Bodbe. Then we head towards Tbilisi for departure.
