Description
As the native Georgian wine par excellence,
Saperavi is the most noble vine of the Kakheti
area and its vineyards are managed according to the
wisdom of age-old traditions. Kakhetian Noble wine
can be considered an authentic Georgian wine, yet,
it is produced with grapes that are truly second
to none, when it comes to comparing international
varieties. Its quality springs from the balanced nature
of a series of natural factors.
Area of production: Kakheti-Georgia.
Type of terrain: calcareous and marly.
Grapes: 100% Saperavi.
Characteristics: a noteworthy combination of spices,
balsamic flavors and ripe cherries, its tannins
have an optimal texture and its final flavors are
long-lasting and decisive.
Organolepti characteristics:
Color: intense ruby and garnet.
Aroma: right away, one will notice the
intense scent of cherries followed by hints of viola
and characterized by a combination of spices
and aromatic herbs, which overcome the wine's
vanilla scent, acquired thanks to a brief stance
in wood barrels.
Taste: this wine immediately gives away
its long-lasting, gratifyingly elegant nature.
The sweetness of its alcohol content flavorfully
combines with silky tannins, to produce a rich
extract that gives off sublimely harmonious flavors.
Food suggestions: ideal with savory first courses
and grilled red meat. Noble fowl served with sauce
exalts its spicy features.
